Empowering patients through better visibility, coordination, and access to cell and gene therapy initiatives. The Industry Initiatives Portal acts as a central hub to map efforts, foster collaboration, and build a more equitable CGT ecosystem.

 

The Challenge

Patient access to CGT is fragmented, with scattered initiatives and limited visibility. This lack of coordination slows progress, reinforces disparities, and limits the impact of ongoing efforts.

 

Our Approach

We are developing the Industry Initiatives Portal to map, connect, and amplify efforts across the CGT ecosystem. By categorising initiatives and using flexible tagging, the platform identifies overlaps, supports coalition-building, and accelerates scalable solutions. It enables stakeholders to discover, contribute to, and align around shared priorities in access, delivery, and reimbursement.

 

Progress So Far

• Developed the foundational Industry Initiatives Portal framework
• Defined key categories and tagging logic for better mapping
• Began onboarding early initiatives (e.g. Act for Hope)
• Engaged initial stakeholders to validate the platform’s coalition potential

 

Looking Ahead

We plan to expand the database, onboard more initiatives, and build collaborative features that enable alignment between patient groups, regulators, and industry stakeholders, ultimately driving more equitable patient access to CGTs.
