Communication
Raising awareness and understanding of cell and gene therapies through unified communication, collaboration, and education.

Introduction
The Communication Workstream focuses on bridging knowledge gaps across the cell and gene therapy community, from patients and clinicians to manufacturers and policymakers. By making information accessible and engaging, we aim to empower people with the understanding needed to accelerate safe, equitable adoption of advanced therapies.
The Challenge
Awareness remains a key barrier to progress in advanced therapies. Complex science, evolving regulations, and limited public knowledge make it difficult for stakeholders to align on shared understanding. This limits collaboration, slows adoption, and can create inequities in access to treatment.
Our Approach
We take a broad, collaborative approach to strengthening awareness across audiences, focusing on five key pillars:
- Branding: Establishing clear and unified messaging for Act for Hope and CGT awareness.
- Content evaluation & amplification: Curating and sharing credible materials to inform and inspire./li>
- Conferences & panel opportunities: Promoting open discussion and visibility across industry and academia.
- Training & collaborations: Partnering with experts to enhance understanding and capability.
- VCs & payers: Engaging investors and financial stakeholders to improve recognition of CGT value and viability.
