Bridging Accreditation and Access: FACT x Act for Hope

As cell and gene therapies transition from niche innovations to mainstream treatment options, the challenge is no longer just scientific, it’s structural. Accreditation and access must evolve together to ensure that therapies are delivered safely, efficiently, and at scale. The standards set by FACT highlight the critical role of safety, quality, and infrastructure readiness in building a trusted, accessible treatment network. At the same time, initiatives like Act for Hope are driving system-wide collaboration by mapping efforts, aligning stakeholders, and creating shared pathways for delivery and reimbursement.

Our workstream sits at the intersection of these efforts, aligning payer expectations with FACT’s accreditation frameworks and leveraging Act for Hope’s insights to identify trusted provider sites and reimbursement models. The goal is clear: to create a payer-ready CGT ecosystem where accreditation and access reinforce one another, supporting sustainable growth and equitable patient care.
